Toronto is the country’s second hub and its first in English. The scene is more scattered than Montréal’s: fewer permanent venues, more organisations renting a room for the night. Rope groups and queer collectives are especially active.

Dance nights with a fetish dress code. People come for the music, to be seen, and to run into everyone. Play is usually limited or absent, which is what sets them apart from play parties. These are the biggest events on the scene, and often the easiest first outing.
