Ipponawa is often presented as a slow, soft and squishy approach to ropes. We went the other way with it…

Striving to find new ways to play with ipponawa, a fast paced, dynamic and fluid approach was conceived! Come learn how simply throwing in a little movement can make interesting options unfold.

Requirements:
- This class is recommended as a partnered class, but can be attended as an observer
- Shared understanding of each other's boundaries
- Shared understanding of basic nerve and safety information for rope bondage
- Bring a blunt edged cutting tool (like safety shears)
- This class has a lot of movement, we recommend wearing comfortable clothes you can sweat in and bring lots of water!

People tying:
- Know how to tie a stable single column tie
- Know how to tie half hitches
- 2+ ropes for the body

People being tied:
- Be able to communicate effectively to your tying partner under stress
- Have an understanding of painful vs dangerous rope
- Have a nerve checking system

Bios:

Kindred is a queer rope switch who’s been practicing bondage since 2016. They enjoy both the technical and connective sides of rope, and attribute much of their growth with rope bondage to their teachers Barkas and Addie and their tying partners.
